Today I want to introduce somebody to you I met
through flickr and who's art I find very interesting.
Want to share it with you.
Her name is YA-LYNN, she's from Taiwan and
studied Visual Communication Design.
Show you a few examples of her works
and she'll tell you a bit about it.
"I like
to create happy and interesting atmosphere
in my works and especially
prefer Japanese
design style and hand drawing approach.
Also, I love
natural subject matters, such as plants
and animals since there are too
many images made by computer nowadays."
"There is no
specific artists or designers I prefer.
Usually, I just pay more
attention on some special
works or pictures rather than the designers."
"Also, I change my favorite style with time casually.
I think drawing is
the reflection of
one artist. There is no bordering and specific rules.
Both of drawing and photography
are kinds of records. Do whatever you
want."
^^ I have two of those parrots!

a lot of delcacy and composure... i like that photo of the garage with that line that forces us to enter darkness or jump upward into a sky (though the wire adds to the entrapment)..very nice~

What a nice introduction! It's so nice to learn about someone else's art and their thoughts behind how they work. I so enjoy it.
My favorite quote is, "Do whatever you want". Ya-Lynn is definitely speaking the truth here. I need to listen to that voice more often and not listen to the voice that says, "What are you doing now, that's not your style!".
