shop update

dishwasher and blue flower

Little helpers did empty the dishwasher. Very soon Frank and I can
spend the days relaxing on the sofa :)
Were out for lunch today with the whole family. Everybody ate SO
MUCH.
Some more moleskine drawings. I'm fascinated by this "book-character",
also the not so good drawings are a part of it. That's something I have
to attune to. Just making and trying. You can see the drawings from
today bigger, when you click at the pic.

little bits of anything

One of my first moleskine drawings. And really, there's something
special about moleskines. Even open the rubber band they are
closed with is somehow magical...very strange.
And another photo for our power lines project. One thing I find
fascinating about this topic, is the drawing character of the lines with
their little details.
Evident of course, but worth documenting and playing with. Anyway
there are many aspects that spark my interest.
The collecting goes on :)

What's up next?

Well, hello to this young new year!!
Hope all of you had a nice start. 2008 sees us a bit sick. Quite the
whole family isn't fit: sore throat, chill, nausea - there's something for
everybody. Even the stuffed animals got to go to the veterinary :))

Heather talked on her blog about her new noticing project, which I find
a fascinating thing - looking forward to what you notice around,
Heather!
Want to tell you a bit of what I'm into and planning at the moment.
There will be a collaboration project with Kristi about power lines.
I'm very happy about this cooperation and will share with you what's
going on.

And: I'm now a proud owner of two moleskines.
Freshly arrived in the mail and waiting for colours and lines.
Hoping to draw that secret of it that let's become so much
beauty in them.
