Abby started a Beautiful Book Week and that's just
the right thing for me as a bookworm and bookcollector!
The one above gave my father to me, it's from 1957.
The title "Das Faxenbuch" is translated "The jestbook".
It's so charming old-fashioned and if you like to toss or
learn little legerdemains (I do!) a treasure trove.
"Het Plantenrijk" = "The plant kingdom" is a Dutch
translation from a British original edition from 1966.
It's a schoolbook. There are beautiful graphics in it
and inspiring drawings. Besides I like the Dutch
language, though I don't understand all of it.
Kristy posted a beautiful link to porcelain jellyfish
made by coe&waito.
Oh man! That top book is so weird and so good. I especially like the man with the pointy finger :)
Thanks for joining me!
